I've been involved in music since the early 90's. It's something I wouldn't mind having a career in. I do have immediate bills to pay, however, so being a web developer gets that out of the way. On the upside of not having music as my number one means of being paid, I don't necessarily have to bow to anyone as far as my creativity goes just to eat.
Currently, I just finished a semester with the BCC Jazz Ensemble playing bass. I play for the God's Flock Music Ministry every Sunday as a floater (any musical instrument that's vacant, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, etc.) I also currently produce for my production company affiliates (MooN sHizzLe Productions), mostly for myself and my rap group Black and Blue Ink.
